ORCA-MOVE

A Mowachaht-Muchalaht First Nation dugout canoe makes its way out of Gold River, B.C., Wednesday, June 23, 2004. The First Nationa band members are on their way to try and keep Luna (L98) the lonely Orca whale away from Gold River and trying to prevent the Department of Fisheries from capturing the whale because they believe the spirit of a dead chief resides in the whale.
